For those of you who are younger than old, here's a bit of an explanation:

In the late 90's and early 00's, Comedy Central had many hours to fill, and nearly nothing to fill it. I'm not sure how much the network scoured the world for stand-up specials. But when we needed them most, history's greatest comedians were there to answer the call.

Well, Michael and I assumed they were the best of the best. Why the hell else would their stand-up specials be in constant, unending, unavoidable, agonizing rotation? It certainly isn't because those comedians cost less money than their competition. That's for damn sure.

I couldn’t find the exact specials for you, but here are some links to Sinbad, Margaret Cho, Kevin Meaney, and Gallagher when they were in their prime.

Watch those 50 times in a row when you should be doing homework. It will change your life.
