FAQ - Ask the writers, frequently.
These are based (loosely) on actual questions we've recieved

What's with the Dr. Lobster & Steve name?
What do you mean?

Where do you come up with this stuff?
Ummm.....  There were so many answers to this question that we just didn't know what to put.  Just e-mail us an answer:   IHaveNoLife@drlobster.com

Why are you so insulting to your fans?
Because we don't have fans, and we know it.  If you're reading this, you're either related to us or one of us is in the room.

Why are there so many strips that aren't funny?
Because you're just too stupid to get many levels of humor that we operate on.

What about the ones that are just too dumb to be funny?
Those would be inside jokes.  You're not inside.  If you have nothing better to do than to read the FAQs of a little-known web comic, you must be very familiar with being on the outside of everything good in life.

I found a lot of errors and typos throughout the strips.
That's not a question.

Did you know that I found a lot of errors and typos throughout the strips?
Yes.

What are you doing Saturday night?
On a good night-  This.
On a bad night-  Watching the comic genius of Louie Anderson.

Why do you hate Louie Anderson?
Why don't you?

Is there anyone you don't hate?
Santa.  No, wait, we hate both hate Santa.  Lousy coal-bringing bastard.

No, seriously, there's gotta be someone.
He-Man.

He-Man?
And most of the Masters of the Universe.

Is it true that Sincho Galameany is actually a child molestor from Seattle?
No.  Margaret Cho is not from Seattle.

What do you guys do when you're not making Dr. Lobster?
Not making Dr. Lobster?  What's the sun do when it's not shining?  Don't ask questions if you don't want the answer.

Can I be a character?
Sure, just send us your name, address, phone number, social security number, date of birth, mother's maiden name, a copy of your birth certificate, credit card number, checking account number, $59.95, and oh yeah, your picture.  No refunds!

Really?  That's all I need?
No, you moron!  Haven't you seen the strip?!?  We don't draw unless it's absolutely neccessary.  The best we can do is suggest you get plastic surgery to look like one of us.  Then tell all of your friends that the strip is all about you.  We'll vouch for you!  Our whole lives are made up of lies!

What if I made a character myself and sent it to you?
Now it all depends on who you are.  Do we know you?  Are you famous?  Are you attractive? (really attractive-- we want references)?  Of course, you could always make your own strip and send that.  But don't forget to also also send photos of attractive people.  These strips are based on our lives.  We're desperate.

We all know that the two main characters are made to look like the writers Michael Buonauro and Jeff Lofvers.  But what are the names of the characters?
Well, we're glad you asked.  For a long time, people have been sending us all kinds of letters and e-mails asking what the true names for the main characters are.  And although we have never mentioned it directly in the strips before, we will be happy to indulge your question here.  The nam
